Modalities

An integrative approach with a blend of depth and structure (existential psychotherapy + third wave cognitive therapies such as ACT and DBT, narrative practices, mindfulness based psychotherapy, and expressive arts therapy, based on client’s needs and hopes from therapy). Trauma focussed and trauma informed, queer affirmative, culturally competent.

Together, we unravel patterns that keep you stuck, while gently building new skills that help you have an empowered relationship with your thoughts and emotions, that help you disrupt living in auto-pilot mode, and that take you closer and closer to a life lived in alignment with what’s important for you in the long run.

Therapy doesn’t have a one-size-fits-all map. Some approaches to therapy focus on untangling the knots of the past; others equip you to weather life’s uncertainties in the present through skill building.

Though we are trained in navigating a broad range of mental health issues using research based strategies, therapists are not infallible experts but fellow travelers who honor your expertise in your own life.
